Will Powell: A New Mexico native from La Luz, Powell has spent more than a decade working in architecture firms and preservation agencies within the US and Europe. After receiving his BA in Architecture from the University of Washington, he returned to New Mexico to pursue an MA in Architecture from the University of New Mexico. His professional experience includes new construction, infill, retail and commercial development, preservation of historic buildings and cultural assets, and business design improvements. Powell offers technical assistance in volunteer coordination for economic and design initiatives within underserved communities around the state. Code compliance, grant administration, pedestrian and public space improvements, community charrettes, and infill design are integral aspects of his community development work.
